During my site visits, I presented two H&Ps that ranged from patients that came in for a variety of reasons. The site evaluator, Professor Avital, was very helpful and interested in the cases and gave useful advice on thinking critically about all the patients.
The evaluations in general were very helpful as it helped me better understand how to think about the patient’s wants and needs and how they play an important role in them choosing to seek care from you. Professor Avital was also great at helping us test my current knowledge on diseases diagnosis and treatments. She was also great in helping us test our knowledge on the drugs utilized for our patients. I believe that the final site evaluation was very informative as well. Overall, I found the evaluations to be very educational and helpful as a developing student.
