During my site visits, I presented three H&Ps that ranged from patients that came in for a variety of reasons ranging from chest palpitations to herpes ophthalmic infection. The site evaluator, Andrea Pizzarro, was very helpful and interested in the cases gave useful advice in how to make my presentations better and stronger. The site evaluation was very helpful as it helped me identify weaker parts of my H&P and my knowledge on the cases. Even during the review of the pharm card was very helpful in making sure that I remember the main side effects that each drug has. I believe that the final site evaluation were very informative. There was however some discrepancies in regards to whether or not differential diagnosis and patient education should be included in the H&Ps or not but it was later resolved and realized that including these could help make the H&P stronger. So for future references, I will be including differential diagnoses and patient education to help me get into the habit of thinking of differential diagnoses and to be able to easily explain to the patient more about their condition and treatment plan.
